Lymphatic Drainage Therapy, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, Swedish, Cranial Sacral and other specialized Massage. Now offering Foot Ionization and Ear Candling!
Foot Ionization is a great way to relax and de-stress. Sit in a comfortable chair as your feet soak in a warm tub of water while the ionizing water works its magic. Our newest service is one many people have added as part of their wellness routine. Give it a try. Sessions are 30 minutes.
Electrical current passes through a set of plates in a module that is immersed in the water inside the foot bath tub. The foot bath water contains a sea salt, so it has the mineral concentration of water from the ocean. While the client’s feet are in the water, positive and negative ions are emitted by the foot bath system. This re-energizes the body and the red blood cells. It eliminates toxins that are stored in fat, kidneys, liver, bowels, and skin. The foot bath also triggers the body’s lymphatic system, which helps with continuing detoxification for up to 24 to 48 hours after a session.

1: a light-touch, whole-body treatment technique developed
by John E. Upledger, DO, OMM; works with the body’s
craniosacral system to support and nourish the central
nervous system – improving overall health and well-being.
2: a complementary method of hands-on bodywork;
works with the natural and unique rhythms of the different
body systems to pinpoint and address problem sources.
3: helps to alleviate the aches, pains and strains of life,
improves coping mechanisms to allow for better management
of stress.
4: improves the body’s ability to self-care; can produce
profound, positive changes.
CranioSacral Therapy (CST) was pioneered and
developed by osteopathic physician John E. Upledger
following extensive scientific studies from 1975 to
1983 at Michigan State University, where he served as
a clinical researcher and Professor of Biomechanics.
CST is a gentle, hands-on method of evaluating and
enhancing the functioning of a physiological body
system called the craniosacral system – comprised of
the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround
and protect the brain and spinal cord.
Using a soft touch generally no greater than 5 grams, about the weight of a nickel, practitioners release
restrictions in the craniosacral system to improve the
functioning of the central nervous system.
By complementing the body’s natural healing
processes, CST is increasingly used as a preventive health measure for its ability to bolster resistance to
disease, and is effective for a wide range of medical
problems associated with pain and dysfunction,
including:
- Migraine Headaches
- Chronic Neck and Back Pain
- Motor-Coordination Impairments
- Colic
- Autism
- Central Nervous System Disorders
- Orthopedic Problems
- Concussions and Traumatic Brain Injuries
- Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia
- Spinal Cord Injuries
- Scoliosis
- Infantile Disorders
- Learning Disabilities
- Chronic Fatigue
- Emotional Difficulties
- Stress and Tension-Related Problems
- Temporomandibular Joint Syndrome (TMJ)
- Neurovascular or Immune Disorders
- Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
- Post -Surgical Dysfunction
- Fibromyalgia and other Connective-Tissue Disorders
